Du Qiurui

Du Qiurei, born in the 1990s, grew up in Beijing, China and resided in New York for many years. Qiu Rui observes life with his unique perspective and incorporates the peculiar and exaggerated qualities of his surroundings into his artistic works. Qiu Rui's works have a unique narrative ability. In his artistic works, he integrates his emotions, love, and fear into colorful colors and satirical expressions. And use his unique imagination to create a world that belongs to him. In recent solo exhibitions such as "The Strange World" (2018), "The Passion of New York" (2019), and "The Adventures of Aunt Wang" (2019), Qiu Rui combines memory and emotions with fantasy to create a strange and unique world that satirizes the various strange phenomena in society. Undergraduate graduated from the famous Parsons College of Art and Design, and graduate students studied in the Department of Pure Art Painting of Pratt Institute. At the same time, as the initiator of the E.E Art Group, I am committed to making a voice for the curation of young artists.
