On the afternoon of July 22nd at 16:00, the Common Art Center presented a comparative exhibition of "Huali Hu Shao" and "Silver Wrapped". This exhibition was coordinated and presented by curator Ah Qing Sao. This exhibition presents a collision between dopamine and a sense of tranquility. Du Qiurei's works are filled with sweet and melancholic emotions, while Japanese artists' works not only continue the flattened style of the past, but also bring us a completely different visual sensory experience. They also present an artistic and cultural feast of seeking common ground while reserving differences with Du Qiurei's works. Both Du Qiurei and Japanese artists are interpreting "love" from their own growth experiences and perspectives, and are also trying to heal their hearts with art. Art is universal, inclusive, and has no borders. Therefore, we hope that all friends who attend the exhibition can benefit from it. The exhibition will continue until August 19th.

「Garish」Du Qiurui Solo Exhibition

"People who take the initiative to love and release their love are great" I am deeply contemplating a sentence from this young artist. In the growth of our generation, fatherly love is a restrained and silent effort, maternal love is a self sacrifice with a smile, and child love is a nod to conceal one's own perspective. Our impression of love always carries a tragic color, as if it were a golden apple, given to you, I can no longer have it. However, after seeing Du Qiurei's paintings, I have a different understanding of love.

In this young artist's painting, love is a brilliant powder that can illuminate the entire world. I see playful Aunt Wang living each day seriously. She happily devotes herself to every small discovery, and the world is colorful in Aunt Wang's eyes. Every emotion has its flavor, and every moment has its beauty. Aunt Wang, who lives seriously, gives love to the world and herself. I suddenly became enlightened, and love may just be a way to connect my heart with the world.

The images of artists rooted in ordinary life remind us that life is not just a mixture of success and failure, wealth and poverty, but rather a pile of ordinary things. Today at Du Qiurei's exhibition, I picked up a pleasant Xiaolongbao, a night blooming phalaenopsis, a bizarre dream, and a conversation with a friend. These feelings that are not classified as "success" and "wealth" were once thrown into the garbage can of memory as "useless ordinary". However, it is precisely these trivial fragments that attempt to teach me to feel, to live, to love the world, and to love myself. Perhaps the most suitable sentence to summarize this exhibition is that life is not a layer of exquisite packaging paper, but rather a flashy and ordinary one.

「Silver Snow」Group Exhibition of Japanese Artists

As a comparative exhibition of "Garish", "Silver Snow" provides a unique perspective to understand the diversity of subcultures in contemporary society, immersing viewers in the rich emotional world created by the work. The collision between dopamine and tranquility makes people think about the contradictions and balance within, as if exploring the intersection of joy and tranquility in life. The works of Japanese artists exude a unique magic, as if every work is a poetic scroll, allowing viewers to feel a deep resonance in their hearts.

Although some artists' works use fluorescent colors that have become very popular in recent years in terms of creative techniques, the overall style of the works still shows a sense of correlation and extension with Japanese avant-garde artists. Flattening has always been an important symbol of Japanese art, and the aesthetic development of "graphic art" for hundreds of years has penetrated into various fields of consumer culture, making this style the most active creative method in postmodernism. As the most important part of contemporary Japanese culture, otaku culture has already been accepted and even pursued in a diverse context, resulting in artworks. These two are closely related to the development of History of Japan and the spread of culture. So when we step out of the grand history and face the works of these new generation artists again, we can clearly feel the inheritance and dialogue between the two.

 Curator SaoSao on-site speech

Hello everyone! I am Ah Qing Sao, a blogger in Life Aesthetics. Starting today, I am also very proud to add a personal label: Curator! It is a great honor to be invited to co curate the Double Exhibition of Art. This time, Teacher Du Qiurei's solo exhibition is called "Whistle in the Flowers". In Teacher Qiurei's paintings, love is a brilliant powder that can illuminate the entire world. Love is the blue of an elf, which can dissolve all melancholia. I see the playful Aunt Wang, the shy wallflower, and the dreamy bitch who lives every day seriously. Their personalities are different, but they are all devoted to every small discovery. The world is colorful in their eyes, every emotion has its flavor, and every moment has its beauty. They live a serious life, treating flowers, grass, and the world with all their heart, With love, life is colorful.

Teacher Qiu Rui rooted in the daily picture performance, reminding us that life is not only two sides, success or failure, wealth or poverty, but most of the time it is piled up in the ordinary: that pleasant Xiaolongbao, that night blooming phalaenopsis, that bizarre dream, that conversation with friends, which is not classified into any feeling of "success" and "wealth", It is even possible to be treated as' useless and ordinary 'and thrown into the trash can of memories. However, it is precisely these trivial fragments that teach us to feel, live, love the world, and also love ourselves. The brilliance of life comes not only from exquisite outerwear, but also from the ordinary and flashy accumulation under the packaging paper.

640-14.jpegExhibition Site

Another exhibition that contrasts with Mr. Qiu Rui is the snow wrapped works of artists from the A4 Gallery in Tokyo. They are not only influenced by traditional Culture of Japan, but also inspired by contemporary TV dramas and even electronic games. They draw inspiration from their own loneliness, pain and precious emotions, and weave their own artistic sense world in a unique way. As a comparison, this time provides a unique way for the audience to understand the diverse cultures of contemporary society.

Artist Mr. Du Qiurei delivered a speech on site

Hello everyone, I am Du Qiurei and I am honored to hold a solo exhibition at the Common Art Center. This is also my first time holding a solo exhibition in Beijing. The name of this exhibition, 'Fantastic in the Flower', is to express that there are many uncertain factors in society that cause people to feel confused about the future. At the same time, I believe that we should feel more about the current mood and bring a relaxed and joyful atmosphere experience to everyone. Therefore, the works in this exhibition hope to give everyone a different feeling, whether it is the visual impact, Everyone still has different emotional connections to the stories and characters that occur in the work itself, so I hope this exhibition can make everyone more colorful this summer.

A4 Gallery TOKYO Representative ZEN ASAKURA

Hello everyone, I am ZEN ASAKURA, the representative of TOKYO at A4 Gallery. This is the first time our gallery has held an exhibition in Beijing, China. I am truly delighted to be able to hold the exhibition at the Beijing 798 Common Art Center. In fact, besides the artists participating in this exhibition, there are also many talented artists in Japan. I hope to have deeper cooperation with the Joint Art Center and hold more excellent exhibitions in the future. I hope to have the opportunity to introduce the works of Chinese artists to everyone in Japan in the future. Thank you all!

Ms. Bao Yu, co-founder of Common Art Center delivered a speech on site

First of all, I would like to thank the curator and our collectors for their sweeping, appreciation, support and Personal media promotion of the gallery. I believe that the new generation of collectors must grow together with artists, and more assist them in creating and obtaining a collection experience. Sweeping is Du Qiurei's collector, and we immediately agreed to hold this exhibition on curation.

640-18.jpegExhibition Site

Du Qiurei created with the easily overlooked group of "Chinese aunties", which is gradually being overlooked by our society. It is precisely the people who resonate with this group, and artists are born in the 1990s. There are many collisions of ideas and experiences between them. The theme of this exhibition, as well as the effect of on-site exhibition arrangement, is actually a synthesis of the two generations' understanding of life aesthetics. Therefore, I believe that in addition to watching our exhibition, everyone should also understand the artists' expressions and insights behind their works. I think this is the very important core behind the artist's creation, supporting him to go further and further. This is also some of the energy that we particularly want to convey to everyone in this exhibition.

640-19.jpegExhibition Site

The second exhibition is called "Silver Wrap", and as the third generation of Japanese artists, these eight artists encompass their flat culture, anime characteristics, dark and other styles. These new generation artists reflect a redefined concept in the subcultural era, and focusing on the new generation of artists has a significant impact on our current collection and even future development. So we will present more meaningful exhibitions to everyone in a more professional way. Thank you all!

Taming AI with Du Qiurei

This exhibition not only showcases traditional works, but also introduces a fun AI interactive experience, allowing the audience to master and possess personal AI paintings. It is not only a display of technological progress and artistic innovation, but also an opportunity to explore the integration of art and technology. Viewers can take this opportunity to reflect on the role and significance of artificial intelligence in the field of art, as well as how to continue to expand the future of art under the promotion of technology.

Everyone's 'bitch baby' is unique, just as everyone's imagination and sensitivity are unique. By customizing AI exclusive adjectives, audiences not only have a deeper connection with the work, but also can fully explore the world of AI creativity and art. This kind of communication and dialogue not only feels the audience's investment and understanding of the work, but also adds infinite fun and interaction to the entire exhibition.

Common Art Center, 707-b03 Hongshi Square, No.2 Jiuxianqiao Road, Chaoyang District, Beijing, China

Founded in 2015, Common Art Center is the first contemporary art gallery with a crowdfunding membership system in China. The Common Art Center is jointly initiated by experienced curators, art dealers, collectors and other professionals in the field. It is committed to providing professional collection solutions for contemporary art collectors with a new business model. The gallery takes "paper" as the medium and works of media as its main research and management direction, because of the importance of such works in the Chinese art system and the broad development prospect in the future. Using paper and folk art as the medium, the excellent artists make paper as a tool to resist its fate, allowing it to get rid of the veil of function and reveal its own artistic value.
