Xu Chenyang

Born in 1971 in Wuxi, Jiangsu

Professional oil painter at the Literature and Art Institute of the Chinese Academy of Arts, national first-class artist, doctoral student in fine arts, and graduate supervisor

Graduated from Nanjing Academy of Arts with a bachelor's degree in oil painting and won the 1991 Liu Haisu Scholarship

In 1994, he was awarded a scholarship from the Ministry of Education, Culture and Culture of Japan to study in Japan and obtained a Master's degree in Arts and Education

Received a PhD in Fine Arts from the Chinese Academy of Arts in 2009

Received the Gold Award at the 33rd "The Present of Painting" Elite Selection Exhibition in Tokyo, Japan in 2004

Received second prize at the 6th J.C. Jacobson Portrait Exhibition at the National Museum of History in Denmark in 2017

Has held 27 individual art exhibitions both domestically and internationally
