ARTIST|Shi Jinsong
Born in 1969 in Hubei, China
His artistic practice involves multimedia systems such as sculpture, installation, painting, performance, architecture, imagery, theatrical experimentation, conceptual design, and manufacturing. His works explore the noun meaning of "consciousness sculpture" and the verb meaning of "sculpture consciousness" from three aspects: the anatomy of consciousness, the self-consciousness of consciousness, and the publicness of consciousness. Therefore, each of his works is a cross section of consciousness flow from different periods and perspectives, and they are interrelated to form an independent personal consciousness genesis system.
He has been invited to exhibit at numerous well-known art venues both domestically and internationally, including the National Art Museum of China, the Lianmu Brook Art Museum, the Berlin World Cultural Palace, and the Pompidou Art Center. He has also participated in important international exhibitions such as the Shanghai Biennale, the Venice Biennale, and the Serbia Biennale multiple times.

1985年生于陕西西安
关奉东的绘画无师自通，他没有经历传统艺术教育的束缚，犀利，执着，又无所顾忌的个性点滴流露在他的绘画之中。宋庄美术馆的创办人栗宪庭为他在美术馆策划了个展“符号生存”。这位朝气十足的年轻艺术家，最早的时候喜欢画飞机，之后逐渐疯狂的围绕符号进行创作。
在充斥着商标和品牌的现代生活里，关奉东的画浓缩并且折射出我们趋于类型化和标准化的生活环境。如立宪庭所评价的那样，‘个性和情感的消磨，忍受单调的耐力，也许是关奉东画这些画的基本冲动，他的作品，造型、色彩和劳作过程都极其单调，而且他把简单重复得令人目眩……关奉东的作品就是他的生活――符号化的生存状态。重复的黑白格子，似乎是关奉东走过的斑马线。重复的脚印造型，似乎是关奉东以往甚至以后人生的踟蹰足迹……’
