Stream of Consciousness and Rhizome
The exhibition "Yiliu and Roots" presents Zhu Dan's "Garden" and "Yi" series. Behind the colorful "Garden" series, Zhu Dan fixes the ever-changing life process of flowers, plants, and trees on the canvas; The deep layers of jumping strokes in the "Yi" series are simulated by Zhu Dan using fragments of "human" and "body" to depict a constantly changing consciousness.
The term Rhizome, derived from the philosophical theory of French philosopher Deleuze, represents an open, non central, irregular, and diverse form and vitality. In Deleuze's theory, "rhizome" is not just a botanical concept, nor even a fixed concept. As a "world structure", "rhizome" generally refers to the state of all integrated things, in a continuous process of "domain decomposition and re domain".
Under this concept, the "flower" and "body" in Zhu Dan's paintings no longer only refer to plants and humans themselves. As a record of Zhu Dan's daily life and feelings at every moment, the process of painting showcases the process of consciousness generation. The actions of painting become a place for the production of ideas and a stream of desire generation. The flowing colors resembling waterfalls, short and powerful lines, sudden color spots, and intense color blending appear in the interior and surface of the picture in an inexplicable yet extremely dramatic way, reproducing, deriving, grafting, and producing each other and shaking each other in countless climaxes.
Gardens and tree shadows, starry nights and fleeting years, life cycles and infinite worlds, and so on, which were once fixed by other images, are no longer occupied by established things in the constantly generated, disintegrated, and regenerated images depicted by Zhu Dan. The screen is exceptionally rich in colors and brushstrokes, which are also vastly different. The veins no longer follow the branches of a large tree. On the contrary, the branches and leaves are intertwined, playful, interwoven, resonating, conspiring, and then confronting and confronting, becoming images that never stop moving, connecting and exchanging information aimlessly, and releasing illusions without restraint.
This is a refresh of the painting style, with such complex and ever-changing movements. For Zhu Dan, "motion" is the explicit aspect of his creation, while "kinetic energy" is an important concept, which also includes the rediscovery and reinvention of "kinetic energy". On the one hand, as long as there is "movement", it means breaking through the boundaries of solidification: moving in linear time to break through the boundaries of time; Moving in visible space to enter invisible space; Escape from the fixed image and destroy the determined part.
On the other hand, recklessly wandering and throwing the "body" into an endless process of movement, as Zhu Dan's work method of painting and practicing, is driven and controlled by the restless and emotional "desire machine" that is rich in life, driving the infinite movement.
People confirm their "world" because of the concept of "me", but they also forget the symbols and memories that other things create. Just like vocal cords are not only used for sound communication, they can also be used to confirm space. A certain color is only named by a certain text, and the so-called real world is only a temporarily realized world. The unrealized potential world will also be led to because of infinite kinetic energy.
Here, we may understand the viewer's feelings when watching Zhu Dan's paintings. He always gives the viewer a new perception in another form when we are about to understand, and tells us that the current picture is just one specific way of implementation, and there are more possibilities that have never been, and should not be bound by this moment.
The exhibition starts with Zhu Dan's abstract paintings and completes a dialogue about cross-border with the spiritual furniture of Ronglin Liangchen. Ronglin Liangchen is inspired by "the beauty of every second" and has been developed and designed by Ronglin Home in collaboration with renowned designers Liang Jianguo and Zhou Chenchen, dedicating three years to polishing. The Liangchen series is a product that integrates international design language with Eastern culture. It not only retains the oriental heritage and the specifications suitable for Easterners, but also highlights the contemporary urbanites' pursuit of future technology and simple quality. Its simple shape and delicate texture are rich in changes, which can comfortably match the current pace of technological life and also interpret the new simplicity of Chinese home furnishings.
Within the gathering of consciousness and the flow of thought, outside the familiar territory, art, life, and concepts are constantly updated to irrigate and nourish the spiritual realm, expanding the dimensions of perception. This "cross-border" and "dialogue" challenge traditional concepts while attempting to create a realm of consciousness that transcends reality, allowing the exhibition "flow of ideas and roots" to serve as a carrier of art itself, and become a profound inquiry into the origin of life, the essence of art, and human consciousness.

Internationally renowned designers The curator of this exhibition, Liang Jianguo, stated in a dialogue: When we discuss the relationship between art and design, art should be integrated into life and space, jointly building a simple and rich high-quality aesthetic norm. They need to inject inspiration into each other, generate deep connections and resonance, and form a love exchange. This fusion not only creates beauty in form, but also seeks commonalities in creation, incorporating art and design into daily life, making it a part of life The synergy of quality in the field makes art no longer isolated and design no longer simple, but rather creates a richer and more vibrant cultural space through mutual inspiration.
