Thank you all for coming
"Urban Art ", from Keith Harlin to today's Takashi Murakami, KAWS, Ignasi Monreal, Shantell Martin, and others, are all the most iconic trendy artists. The term 'Generation Y' is widely recognized in the United States as the last generation in the 20th century. During this decade, Chinese society has undergone countless transformations.
Thank you all for coming
Domestic artists who grew up after the millennium have witnessed these changes, using their unique artistic techniques to record reality, express emotions, and express themselves. Generation Y is also an information age, with countless fashionable cartoon characters, cultural symbols from around the world, and unrelated fragmented information all rushing into our daily lives. Unlike the intentional and unintentional "exclusion" created by conceptual art and extreme art, trendy art does not have a fixed style or school, but rather evolves as a "generalization of artistic creation" with popularity and development. This is also one of the reasons why trendy art has always been questioned by mainstream art circles who create "scarcity" and "originality".

During this period, many trendy artists recreated by embezzling, mixing, and rebuilding original classic elements, paintings, and brands. This artistic proposition is a common belief among trendy artists of this era, and they never mind imitation and plagiarism, collectively distancing themselves from the pursuit of originality in modernism. In today's fast-paced era, conflicting cultures, elements, styles, and even viewpoints are seen as equal by young cultural consumers. Misappropriation, mixing and reconstruction, creating a new and unique visual experience, are the core characteristics of visual aesthetics in Generation Y, which is also an inevitable trend in the development of trendy art.

In the era of information explosion on the Internet, art is subtly influencing everyone, and trendy artists have stood at the forefront of contemporary art through a large amount of online promotion, commercialization of art, and a formed studio system, becoming the trendy cultural vane of the new generation of trendy enthusiasts. From large to wall graffiti art, giant sculptures, to small prints, brand co branding, various trendy games, film and television entertainment, trendy art is ubiquitous in our lives.

In previous years, trendy art may have only started with the sentiment of a small range of art enthusiasts, but with the gradual rise of art cross-border in recent years, trendy art exhibitions and immersive exhibitions that have emerged in China have become a must-have destination for Generation Y cultural consumers in emerging economies. Compared to the traditional art exhibitions that bring viewers a sense of admiration and distance from the work, the emerging immersive exhibitions can bring viewers closer to the artwork.
Exhibition Guests and Viewers Waiting for Admission
The immersive exhibition of Tidal Wave Generation Y integrates tidal art works into the scene. While satisfying the visual effects of the exhibition, it naturally highlights some specific meanings that tidal art works want to express, present, and explore in a more public friendly atmosphere. This is also the core of this exhibition: art is not only a theory of beauty, but also a form of entertainment.
