2020 the book "The Pneuma-Medium Art on Wang Fei’s Ink Painting" by Xia Kejun was published
2017 he turned to the creation of "mediumistic art " developing the unique "fractal" theory and concept of the soul

2005 Wang Fei created the "Relations" series shifting his focus from contemplation of mythological stories to a concern for reality. Notably his large-scale works such as "Mirror of Heaven" (2008) and "Purgatory - Homage to Dante" (2010-2019) vividly depicted the existential realm of contemporary life unintentionally foreshadowing global concerns in the "post-pandemic era"
1999 he founded the art magazine "Art Status" and served as its editor-in-chief
1994 held a solo painting exhibition at the National Art Museum of China with his work "Drought demon" being collected by the museum
